What is the kraft paper?

Kraft paper is one of the paper and is widely used in the packaging industry.

Why is it named kraft paper?

Well, this is really a question. Lishimei packaging thinks we can find the answer from the kraft paper history.

At the begging, the kraft paper is made from the calfskin leather. This leather paper is durable and the color is brown. Until in the 1880’s, the modern Kraft paper was invented in 1879 by an individual named Carl Dahl. He chose to give his newly created paper the name “kraft” – the German word for strong. In Lishimei’s idea, the new invented paper is also durable and have the similar color with the before leather kraft paper. So, name it!
